Eventbrite - 17th Annual Rocky Point Rally™

As in past years, the REGISTRATION AREA for the Rocky Point Rally will be situated Thursday and Friday at Barclin’s gas station just North of town, on the highway between Sonoyta and Puerto Peñasco.

What may be new to some is there is now a BRIDGE when heading down the highway – and Barclin’s will be on your left shortly after crossing that bridge (tents and signs will be up)  We realize some folk ride into town first and then choose to ride back out for their registration material (which would put entrance on your right).  Plus, you can gas up right there!

The local Rocky Point Riders group also sets up quite a fiesta in the area, adding to the overall flavor of making it to Rocky Point.

Registration area will include:
* WILL CALL spot for everyone who has registered online (thank you!)

* Registration tables – don’t forget to pick up your registration ($20 US)  which includes OFFICIAL PATCH, PIN, Rally merch, program, map and Rally Passport details

* CHARITY POKER RUN – pick up your game sheet and head out to the 1st stop once you hit town!  $10 US

* Donation drop off:  toys (yep, we’re starting our toy collection for the 4th Annual Kings Day Ride coming up Jan. 6, 2018;  other donations welcome include dog food for one of the local privately run dog shelters, items for Casa Hogar home for the elderly (adult diapers, cleaning supplies)

Hi, just going to come from Kamloops B.C. Canada, I have a place to stay just wondering when the Friday groups are leaving have not decided where I’m leaving from Yuma or Phoenix. Just trying to make arrangements. thanks Andy

    • rprally - October 1, 2016 9:06 pm

Don’t know if you’re coming that way but we know of a group leaving Thur from Fontana, CA. From Yuma you can also drop down into Mexico by crossing at San Luis Rio Colorado and taking the coastal highway to Rocky Point. Just ride safe and watch for sand. You can check groups/meet up points at our event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/1694899314066323/

Where is the group that is gathering on Thursday in Chandler leaving from and what time

    • rprally - October 14, 2016 3:48 pm

There has been talk of having the HD on Chandler Blvd. be a meet up point. Important to note, it’s not an official ride at all just a meet up spot.

      • Rob - November 8, 2016 6:09 pm

Several groups are leaving from Chandler HD at approximately 9:30 AM Thursday. Headed south through Maricopa and on to Gila Bend.

  9. Jim - October 12, 2016 8:13 pm

  12. Patti Pinard - November 3, 2016 5:37 pm

We are unable to attend this rally this year

  13. Patricia (Patti) Pinard - November 3, 2016 5:46 pm

We are unable to attend this rally this year because of my medical condition. It would have been our first year…next year. However, we purchased four tickets. Would we be get our money back? I would give $40 to a charity.

    • rprally - November 5, 2016 10:05 pm

      Hi Patricia,
We can send the materials to you if you like, following the rally – give us a few days. Thanks for contacting us!

  14. Mark - November 6, 2016 6:10 am

Is there meetup befor u cross the border

    • rprally - November 6, 2016 5:38 pm

There will be a meet up spot at the Chandler Harley Davidson Thurs and Fri starting about 8:30 a.m. (this is not an event ride but rather a way for people to meet up), also at Bobby’s Territorial Harley Davidson in Yuma http://rockypointrally.com/meet-up-spots-before-heading-to-rocky-point/
At the Lukeville border entry there will surely be people meeting up for the last stretch to Rocky Point.

    • Rob - November 8, 2016 6:14 pm

Mark, most folks stop at the gas station (there is only one on the left) just before crossing the border to fill up (me included). Just across the border this a popular stop (Vasquez Liquors). You can talk and find people there to ride with the rest of the way to Rocky Point.
