    $ 15.00 for registration ????
    I am coming from Hong Kong for this rally, it would be nice to have a little more direct communication link than what is available on the web site. As well, I’ll drop an easy $100 for the charities, you should make it known that you can “donate” whatever you feel like and make it known how to accomplish this….
    Where I live you can spend $15 on 1 beer !!!! no problem…

    Is there a helmet law in Mexico?

  6. mark - October 31, 2014 2:39 am

    everything I have read says that Sonora Mexico requires helmets. Whether the law will be enforced with thousands of gringo riders next weekend is the big question.

    • Mex Biker - November 3, 2014 9:16 pm

      Mark, I have asked this question about a helmet law many times this year. Apparently they must have one but never in my 10 years of attending without one have I ever been stopped for the violation. In fact this is the first year I have even seen the question or anything online about it existing. Think I will ride from the border to RP with one but not wear it in RP as safety in numbers. There are always cops who try to make some money from you. Be sure not to bring a weapon or knife of any kind. They are serious about that.

    What happens if I don’t have a passport to go to the rally.I know I don’t need one to get in there done that many times before but on the way back is the problem. When I get stuck in Mexico?

    • rprally - November 5, 2014 1:44 pm

      Be sure to have a certified copy of your birth certificate and photo ID as a back-up plan for heading back North. Safe travels
