How much is registration?
2014 Rocky Point Rally Registration is $15 US per person. This registration fee is a donation to a number of charity organizations that benefit from the event. This year’s registration packet includes wristband to identify Rally-goers, Official Rally Pin, official Rally patch, official rally koozie, official rally bandana – and gifts from sponsors. Be sure to pick up the Rocky Point Rally Passport at Registration as well for an additional $5 US (with registration packet) or $10 US by itself!
How do I register for the Rally?
Registration for the Rocky Point Rally is done at Barclin’s Circle K & Pemex Station on Thursday, November 6th and Friday, November 7th from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Plus, look for registration booths at Kick-Off party on Thursday at Banditos, Beach Fiesta at Playa Bonita on Friday, and Saturday in the malecón.
Do I need a passport ?
YES! As of June 2009, those traveling by land back into the U.S. need to present one of the following travel documents: Check here for more info: www.getyouhome.gov
- U.S. Passport
- U.S. passport card (only valid for travel by land and sea)
- Children under 16 arriving by land or sea my present an original or copy of birth certificate, Consular Report of Birth Abroad, or a Naturalization Certificate
- U.S. lawful permanent residents: Permanent resident card (Form I-551)
- U.S. Military: Valid U.S. Military identification card when traveling on official orders

Do I need Mexican bike/car insurance?
YES! If you are driving/riding in Mexico you must have Mexican insurance, it is the law. It’s worth noting the majority of policies from the U.S. do not cover you in Mexico. You can get insurance online prior to the Rally, as well as over the phone or at various spots along the way. You need to have valid insurance for your entire stay, along with a valid driver’s license. We encourage you to check with our sponsors for rates.
What can I bring into Mexico?
Important! Weapons and Ammunition are illegal in Mexico!! Bringing weapons, guns, or drugs of any type into Mexico is strictly PROHIBITED and is a serious offense. PROHIBIDO traer armas, municiones y drogas de cualquier tipo a México. Armas y municiones es un delito mayor.
